Question Wrapping a BackBox

Now, as you all know, I'm selling my Ninja BackBox.

Some have said that I should be ready to post it ... I wasn't really too happy about that.

But - I have had a Towbar for my new Honda delivered in a tough, solid, cardboard box (with bubble wrapping inside) ..... this seems an ideal box to post the BackBox.

But, and this is the rub, the exhaust sticks out the end of the box by about 6" ... I'll stick the flange outside (not the polished end pipe).

Will that be an issue for the Post Office or a Courier do you think? And how should I secure/wrap that bit?

A bit of bubble wrap should sort that, taped up with that brown packaging tape. My exhaust arrived wrapped only in (very well wrapped) bubble wrap, and was in perfect condition.

Hi mate. I posted ( on Monday ) a Racebox back box. I wrapped it in bubble wrap and then packed the box with some bits of cardboard so it didn't move around. I then put it all in a big box and taped it up ! Took it to the Post Office and they were fine. It cost me £20 for recorded, trackable postage.

Cheers,

Paul.

Use http://www.wheelcourier.com/

Cheap and reliable way of sending stuff. Load of bubble wrap and then tape some black bin bags round it and it'll be fine
