Default DIY Newage Spoiler Fitting

Any of you guys ever fitted a scoobyworld replica STi 8 rear spoiler yourselves? it does say DIY fitment is possible but they recommend getting a decent auto body shop to sort the fitment instead.
Basically what's involved, does it pick up on the existing smaller WRX spoiler mounting holes, how many more holes do you have to drill etc etc etc.
Just don't fancy making a dogs **** of the hole project, thought i would seek a little advise first.
Appreciate any input

Mine is the scoobyworld one, I promise you im not very good at things like this but me and my dad gave it a go. remove the old wrx spoiler, then use the cardboard that came with the spoiler to make a template of the bottom of the sti spoiler. Then use the 4 holes from the wrx to fix the cardboard to the bootlid then carfull mark them and drill the holes, i think it was 8 additional holes,

Def can do this urself just take ur time and be brave

My bodyshop man had a tough enough time with mine, unless you're quite experienced with this sort of thing I'd stay clear of a DIY fitment.

definitely get it fitted from the bodyshop, in the long run if you DIY'd it you make get problems (leaks, rattles etc), so leave it with the pros

its not difficult if you take your time. But i have restored cars in the past and rebuilt a few engines so am not afraid to tackle anything. Depends on your own confidence and knowledge.
