I would look at these 2 as they are probably in your price range

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1855294.htm (a little more expensive than the other 2)

Ok, these dont have versions, and it wouldnt be a version 8 anyway
Go by the Model Year (MY03 for example), power output is quoted by subaru as 280ps (276bhp) and 290lbs of torque, but they push out a fair bit more than that even better with a remap
There are several versions, the one you dont want is the motorsport version, it is lighter but misses out on things like the engine oil cooler and transmission oil cooler, auto dccd (it does have manual though), brembo brakes (has standard subaru brakes ) decent interior (has a throw away interior thats come out of a bottom of the range justy).
The 2 white models in my last post are both the 17 inch version's, the alloy wheels that they have as standard (bbs 17 inch ones) are forged and not exactly cheap to buy (about 1200 quid without the tyres for a set of 4), the blue one I would say is a limited, black interior and the luxuries the 17 inch doesnt have (electric windows, mirrors, passenger sun visor etc) otherwise they are similar specification.
Hope that helps

Its a uk fuel remap, shouldnt affect your insurance, if not try the likes of keith michaels
My old one only has a fuel remap, but has the "cosmetic" alterations and the 18's, blue one is probably closest to being standard.
Ah, forget the blue one, not a spec c so the one with the big spoiler is your best option
Tony
PS, who are you trying for insurance?

It does not have an engine oil cooler but I think I'll be taking care of that issue in the near future with some track days coming up and several runs through the great Welsh countryside looming as well.
