Please can someone tell me what the 'MY' means when someone writes about their 'MY00' or 'MY99' model - I guess the last 2 digits are the year, but what is that 'MY' bit all about. Please excuse my ignorance!!

There is a very handy table on this page that tells you loads of info about the WRX, and when each "MY" year starts and ends etc.
