Default Dont buy off rsjohn !

Bought a speedo sensor off him a few weeks ago. Was supposed to be a 2 pin type and he sent me a 3 pin. I've sent him 2 messages and he's been online after both messages so i can only presume he's ripped me off. Paid as a gift through paypal so i dont suppose i'll ever get my money back. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over £30 but i'd feel bad if someone else came on here and said they'd been ripped off for £300 quid and i had'nt warned them 1st.

Two sides to every story fella. Let him explain himself before you send the dogs out.

Could be a simple mistake!

Do alarm bell's not ring when the seller wants the transaction payment to be 'gifted'

Buyer beware and be wise!

Ok, you dont want to take the charges as part of your profit, so ask the buyer to pay the extra to cover the charges. That way you get the money you ask for, he gets the 'protection' of paypal (!). Job done. That is how I have done it in the past, as a buyer, and would do again.

If the seller wont accept that, then steer clear.

But the charges aren't even that expensive. And the reason they are there is a form of insurance so isn't it worth just being honest???

Ahhhhhh RS JOHN from the Isle of White, I bought an item of him a few years back, it showed up after 4.5 months after numerous emails from me, excuses from him and threats from me, best of luck !

I believe he is on Ford and Mits Evo sights too

Perhaps a sticky should be posted by the mods to warn of the pitfalls of paypal gift? They could view it as another push in the war against the scammer.
