Default dash clock options

i have a 96 pre facelift wrx, can I swap the clocks from a later model? the mileage counter has stopped registering and the lights are sh*t.

the problem i foresee is my speedo only goes up to 120mph will this be affected if i swap for an sti set which goes to 160 mph?

As far as your milage stopped working thats more likely to be the cable to your gearbox mate, and as for changein to the STI clocks you will probably have to change the data cable anyhow in which case the MPH will register accordingly to the clock
