No thats a good price for a JDM MY03 STI, especially with that mileage, its not a UK car, this has the A-DCCD as standard, twin scroll, quick rack steering, rear wiper etc over the UK car.
Well priced if you ask me

I would also consider this, http://pistonheads.com/sales/1879526.htm

yes the JDM is a better car, but always had a soft spot for a prodrive bug, sure someone will correct me if wrong, but I think they have better internals than other Uk models, and ths better for more power

You are wrong, the Prodrive style car was cosmetics only. At the same time the 305PS PPP was released onto the market which may be what's confusing the issue for you.

So would that mean that a Bug with the PPP upgrade has the better engine but one with just the bumper doesn't? I thought the Prodrive Bug had both the bumper as well as the engine mods Just interested to know

UK Bug was only enhanced with Prodrive cosmetics and No performance enhancments , relased March 2002 ish, PPP was an optional extra and came out October 2002 ish. A high percentage of Bug owners had PPP fitted later

There was a Bug STi UK released about Dec 01-Jan 2002 but it was not cosmetically "Prodrived" so looked like an Euro or JDM

IIRC IMHO

Tony

Ps That does look a good by for £8+K

The PPP wasn't an engine mod as such, it was just an EcuTek remap (by Prodrive with SUK waranty cover) with some exhaust changes, and later on a new fuel pump too. It was on the cautious side where EcuTek remaps are concerned and not tailored to the individual car, just a generic map for that model year.

The Prodrive version was just a cosmetics exercise, you could add the PPP to either version of the car at extra cost post registration.

I travelled 220 miles for my type R and 300 miles for my Spec C, rather travel than have that poor car end up in Bradford especially if she is a good one

ROFLOL

Unless that has been retro fitted (which I can't see), that is about as much of a Spec C as a Mondeo!

It could be a detangoed 2003 V-Limited, people seem to mistake those for Spec C's

not strictly true actually.

02 bugeye Sti's didn't have EcuTek and couldn't be remapped and were actually piggybacked with us having to send off our ecu for another one that had been modded....

Not sure I hav not confuse you but they produced a 2003 v limited in 2004 to celebrate Petter Solberg winning the wrc championship. These were normal sti's with a roof vent and some nice interior bits (and loads of stickers).

its not a impreza "wrx" v-limited as it doesn't have the wheels or the stickers ...and the impreza "wrx" v-limited didnt have roof scoop also the "wrx"v-limited had loads if sti goodies and sti suspention. ...and ive seen some impreza wrx "sti" v-limited for sale .....they all seem to be called "impreza wrx sti v-limited spec limited to 555"...they had suspension tuned by toshi arai ...i just sold my impreza "wrx" v-limited
