Default Am I the only Scooby owner that cant figure this out?

Hi all,
Can someone tell me how to get at the speakers in a 4-door saloon? Cant seem to figure out how to get the rear seats forward (is this even necessary) to enable me to remove the shelf covering to get at the damn speakers!
Apologies if im being thick, just driven a 10-hour round trip to fetch the car!

Regards
Ben

As above, the rear backrest needs LIFTING off it's hooks before it can be removed.

But surely you can get at the speakers through the boot?

No afraid not, they have been screw in from abave and the 'carpet' put back over the screwheads. The grilles were then just placed on the speakers. Dont think it was factory standard lol

Ah, OK. The rear shelf MAY have been out before, but be careful when you remove it as the sealant from the rear window often oozes out and glues the shelf in. Not insurmountable, but take your time.
