Default do standard subaru 4 pot calipers and discs fit v9(2005) sti?

silly question,i know,but will the standard wrx calipers and discs fit a 2005 v9 sti?(instead of the brembos)

the sti brembos bolt sraight on a classic, so..........?????????? does it work the other way round?

Well the discs won't fit as the PCD pattern on the WRX discs is 5x100 and the STi discs is 5x114.3, you could get the WRX discs drilled to fit.

But why would you want to fit smaller discs, less powerful calipers and pads?

lol,a long story,its not for my car but but its for temporary,will the calipers fit?

I think so but you might need to change the caliper mounting bolts as well, but give Ian Godney a PM perhaps he can confirm one way or the other.

yep i agree as the brembos bolt straight onto a classic but with the brembo bolts,the hole centres are the same so they must be interchangeable.thanks mate.

Yes if you redrill the disc centres to a 5 x 100mm pcd they will fit straight on , the Gp N cars used to fit these on gravel under 15" wheels before they went to AP's
