wot is a wrx v limited, should it have any goodies on it. should it say this on log book or car sumwer.

yep yep, thats the one. i got bigger rear spoiler(sti v6 or summat, thats comin orf shortly) and clear indicators on the wing. it was the roof vent that was throwing me, but thats the 'ra' beast.

also, how would one find out wot number of the 1000 built i have?

should have a badge on the boot same as on the seats and a number like 103/1000 under the badge

no badge on boot, but i dont think i have original boot since im told it should be ally like the bonnet, but my boot is tin. il have a look at seats cos they do have summat on em.

Hi Mate

I just bought the same car!! mine has a big white FIA badge on the rear & below it there is a blue badge saying mine is number 578/1000 & mine has the same spec as yours and is '53C' blue, gold alloys, logo of the white badge embroided into the front seats.
afaik its just a wrx, 260bhp with a slightly different g.box code to the normal wrx's, i have noticed the gearbox code matches that of the wrx sti V2 gearbox code (according to catherine & kens website)

Boots lids are steel. The only alloy panel on any Classic will be the bonnet.

ah, mine is a 96 on a n plate, however a call to subaru technical in birmingham i found out my car was manufactured in 95 and first sold 28/2/96! log book says manufactured in 96. also got the engine number from them and i can confirm it has the original lump in it. the number is on the block, below right hand side of intercooler. (6 digit no.)
seats have wrc champions 95 logo on em

my mate owned it 5/6 yrs b4 me, he bought it being told it was a 555 limited edition with 285 bhp. now i have it i wanted to know for sure, and am getting all sorts of answers.
im taking it as a 'blue impreza with 260bhp', lol, after having a look at the vin plate and ecu(a v4 i think, i forget now)
