Something similar happened to me when I sold my 3-door Cosworth after 11 years of ownership. The guy put it on the market pretty quickly, and was quoting all the bills I had paid on it!

he has tweaked the ad, removed loads of info and added text (poor spelling etc) and re used the pics at mine. wish i never had to sell it to be honest, regret it everyday but needs must at the time and still now.
also mentions a shift light which i am sure it did not have, unless he is talking about the engine cell check light that he seemed to hit on more than one occasion when he was test driving the car lol
he could not have had that much more than 6 - 8 weeks, he did join on here so hope all is well as he came across as a decent fella

This happened with our classic also, infact within a 2 months it was for sale twice. the guy who bought it originally said he couldnt insure it so was for sale within a week of us selling it.

Looks like a awesome motor though, bet you had to sell it because you couldnt fit any more gauges in it

Guys guys girls,
Looks like i created quite a stir, I deceided for some weird reason to sell on a whim . Was looking to buy a house but now rented again so i,m glad to say i am still the owner of this outstanding scooby and will be for the forseeable.
No slur on you stevie as you looked after the car impeccably
i just always get a sevice done when i buy a vehicle regardless. Did i really hit the redline on the test drive thought i took it fairly easy compared to you when you had flames spiting Stevie.
David i will be booking her in for the brakes and will be in touch in due course.
To clarify and despite the phone call yesterday from a firend of Stevie's i will and am not selling the scooby now (NOT FOR SALE).
I came to my senses and apologise for the lack of involment on the forum (i,ve had so much going on) When is the next bigish event?
Paul (not he and some guy ) and what is up with fixup named after one of the fav songs (dizzy rascal).

Good news Paul I am glad you still have it, was shocked when I was forward a link to the eBay ad, get it up to David's n get those brakes sorted and enjoy it as I wish I could. Sucks trying to buy a house so all the fun times are on hold.
Also mate can you check your email as I got some sister email from your address, almost looked like a dodgy virus thing so with all the stuff with eBay n that when you bought the car can you check it out for me, cheers pal
All the best
Steve

New owner rang me after i left a voicemail, Paul...
Told me he had a promotion and no longer needed the car after only a few weeks!! Wanted £8950, told him there are too many modified classics out there at the mo for same money ish with a better spec on lower miles, was quite sharp on wanting to end the conversation
All the best Stevie
Regards Scott.

Of course no hard feelings pal, and glad you have decided to keep her and progress with further involvement
I was genuinely calling re the sale of the car, not "pretending"! If you cared to check out when Stevie was selling i was very interested but had a Jag S Type R to move at the time, and Stevie ideally wanted cash sale.
