knocking on front over bumps

Default knocking on front over bumps

hi guys i bought 05wrx last week and have noticed banging noise on nsfront when going over bumps drop links are good just replaced thinking it was them looked at the shocks and the nsf is wet, so taking it back to where i bought her from in the morning if its the shocks am i right in saying both fronts should be changed

Yes mate if one has gone you can pretty much guarantee the other is not too far behind!

Not wise to just change one as this can offset the balance of the car due to one being stronger than the other.

I'm getting the exact same thing with my MY00 sti wagon, anyone recommend a decent (and not too pricey) replacement?

Been back where i bought the car from today and they sent me to an mot station for them to look at.Oyil on the shock and bump test its bouncy but still they its a mot pass and the garage are saying the will take to another mot test station and if it passes with them then its ok to drive
help needed on this please
