thanks, I must have standard downpipe and resonator with a stainless centre and backbox, does anyone do a replacement for the resonator so I can keep the cat downpipe, as going for a remap soon as mine still has std map and I want it checking over and possibly mapping on 97 ron fuel, presume the resonator adds a restriction to the flow, its very quiet at low revs although does scream when opened up,

I have a nice Genome exhaust back box and centre section that has been modified to fit a JDM MY05 car, box is in good condition, paint has faded a little but still very nice I need to modify it to fit my MY03 JDM as mine is a 3 part exhaust, but this has been modified as a slip on section from the bb to the centre and 3 inch centre going back down to a standard connection.
The genome is a 5 inch exhaust tail pipe btw

Think I need to jack the car up and look under there see what it actually has, presume removing the resonator will improve things slightly, I have a receipt for nearly £300 for replacing front of exhaust this must be the bit that was replaced.
