hi
anyone know a good place to buy no. plates?

when i went for some the other day, they said they would have to have there name on the bottom because of new laws.
i was wanting a set made with my own slogan on the bottom of the plate.
any ideas?
dave.

Cool

I went to Halfords today and got a new front number plate, after a collision with a polystyrene box at about 70MPH

For £9 and a 5 minute wait I now have a plain white number plate (well, plain except for the number and letters ) - no slogan or info at the bottom. Might be worth checking out...

May be wrong but only the new 51 and 02 plates need the makers name and postcode on.

i had some plates made up for my last car (bout 3 months ago) and was told the same "got to put our name or postcode on the bottom ITS THE LAW NOW" BUT however, i have just replaced the front numberplate on my scoob and halfords made it, i was quite pleased that they had printed their name at the bottom but thank god it is almost invisible, the bloke who made it said that they have had lots of people complaining so the plates come with "halfords and branch no." already embossed on the no. plate which is the almost the same colour as the plate itself and can only be read close up......
manuscript finished, well almost!!
it may not be what you are after but its better than having jons car spares plastered all over the bottom of your plate!!!!
