Is it true if I buy a maf sensor from subaru it has a 3 year warranty or is this only if they fitted it?

Scoobyworld sell genuine mafs slightly cheaper, n wot about the ones on ebay slightly cheaper still that say genuine subaru?

Are they easy to change n wot tools needed? is it just screwed in side of pipe after air box, Its a facelift classic my2000

If the car is an MY99/00 then the part is about 85 quid plus vat from a dealer.
