Question What Should I Ask

For my Ninja Backbox?

It was sold to me as a Ninja and it looks exactly like one, but it has no markings?

It's sat in the garage, when it should be sat on someone's classic sounding brilliant!

Also, don't really want to post it anywhere .... and risk damaging it, losing it, etc,

If its a Ninja copy I'd say depending on condition ,which I expect will be very good condition , about £90 should be fair
.. oh and don't be such a woose not wanting to post it , as long as its bubble-wrapped to death and sent "tracked" it'll be fine

Pete, you should do the honourable thing and smash it into tiny pieces so as not to make some unsuspecting newbie modify their car away from standard!

It's the one mod I would, and can, recommend in all honesty ..... OK, it looks a bit boy-racer, but the sound is fantastic.

I was concerned that it would be too loud and/or rumble at motorway speeds .... it isn't too loud (classy loud I call it) and it is absolutely not intrusive at motorway speeds and on long journeys.

Thanks

2.5 or 3" pipework? I had one of these a few years back and was a great sounding exhaust. Until some numpty drove into the back of me

Errm, no idea what size pipework - would guess at 3" but couldn't swear by it ....

Surely a man of your talent and engineering skills could manage to work a tape measure.

Tape Measure is no good ..... not unless you want the circumference ...... virneer is what I need, and I have one - but don't know what 'safe place' I have put it in.

bloody hell Pete, your engineering skill is letting you down there. even my 5 year old nephew can see the difference between 2 1/2 and 3"

vernier by the way, or calipers. or common sense

Hi Pete,

The BackBox looks nothing like that!

Is that a special backbox for those with Gold Wheels, Cocklink and Induction Kits?

Tape Measure is no good ..... not unless you want the circumference
But the tape will give the diameter from the circumference. Divide by pi (if you are an engineer that is)

Or measure the hole at the joint end PMSL

I do, but the urge to wrap it around your neck might be overwhelming.

This would go very nicely on my completely 100% standard 1996 car.
