Default Scoobymania/Area 52 experiences

Hi,

does anyone have any experiences with Scoobymania/Area 52?
Do they still work? In their online shop I see lates updates from 2006?

I'd be interested in some stuff from them - but asking some questions by email I get no feedback, so not sure if placing an order isn't pointless.

cheers

There was a thread about 6 months ago from memory where Type R Brad had some engine work carried out by Area 52 and the outcome of the repair.

I see - so you say it's better to avoid them?
I'll try another place then to get my new injectors

But I thought that on that other thread Area 52 they had never had an engine build problem that they was a) of their doing; and b) if one was discovered due to third party issues, e.g. components, they always put it right?

Maybe it was another tuner, but I am sure it was Area 52.

For injectors I'd always look at Lateral's offerings first

http://www.lateralperformance.co.uk/

Millenium racer on here sells flow matched injectors (used)

Lateral do all sorts, and will be your best bet for injectors.

Thanks for advice
Mark - actually I'm the guy who asked you already by email for the Power Entrprise injectors.

It happend just yesterday and I'm simply looking at the moment for possible solutions, but apparently all routes lead to Lateral Performance anyway

Ahhh, ok. Still think the first thing to do is test your injectors, to confirm the issue, and then ultrasonically clean them, to see if it improves any flow issues.

OK - can we go then back to emails? I'd the best take them simply out of the car and get them posted to you, but if you could tell me the worst case scenario cost I asked about in my email, please.

On the other hand - it will cost anyway But just want to make sure I go the right way, to avoid troubles in the future again.

cheers
