It's taken a fair bit of work (and investment), but i've now acheived over the target power that i'd been aiming for - Check out the ambient and intake temps!



In this spec, it's made..
534hp/490ftlb @ 1.7 Bar on Sainsbury's 95RON
568hp/515ftlb @ 2.0 Bar on V-Power
617hp/555ftlb @ 2.0 Bar on Sunoco GTPlus 109 RON

There's room for a bit more power too - I haven't heard any sparkly det yet whilst pushing the tune up, and am currently running 22-25 degrees of timing at full load. I'm tempted to increase the boost a bit, higher up in the rev-range to try and flatten out the torque and increase the peak power.

The car has been modified from standard, developed and mapped by me. - My main aim was to keep it looking as standard as possible from the outside, whilst delivering the power to surprise a litre sportsbike.

It's safe to say it's an animal to drive on the road at full throttle, yet surprisingly comfortable, economical and easy to drive around town, off boost.

Why did you go for a 2.35 over 2 or 2.5. i had speced that up at rcm but they seem to think 2.5 is the way to go, interested to hear your thoughts ?

2.35 is tried and tested, and was the sensible option at the time of build

"WTF" - That's what some guy on an R1 said when we stopped at a set of traffic lights

SM4 is a very capable ecu - It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Syvecs, but it's adequate for my needs.

I haven't added it all up, but at a guess around £23k including buying the car, but not taking into account any of my labour.

If you can force yourself to sit at the legal limit on the motorway, then it returns around 280 miles to a 60Ltrs tank full. Although a quick calculation shows that at full boost @7k rpm it's consuming just over 3.75Ltrs of fuel per minute


....bring me your car and around £25K, and you could be driving something very similar
