Hi Everyone,

Just joined up and finally getting round to posting pics of my Impreza.

1997 Subaru impreza STi V3 with just over 44k on the clock and completely standard apart from a HKS dump valve and turbo back exhaust system.

It was a close choice between an Evo 5 and this but I always loved the sound of the flat 4 engine so thought I'd try it out 8)

Also have a Rover 220 GSi turbo which I've had since 2001.

The hamster, YHPM

Also would a 10w/40 semi sync oil be suitable to use in my impreza ?

Cheers

Welcome, that looks a nice Sti. A friend in work has a Rover Turbo. He,s spent thousands on it, but its off the road most of the time because of some kind of mechanical trouble. How is yours for reliability. Steve.

Tyson - It's red not orange get your eyes tested out lol

dolomite- Never had any reliability issues with mine since owning it. Still on original headgasket and turbo with 81k on the clock. It all depends on how you buy them and look after them. Owned 4 Rovers and never had the problems that you normally hear about.

Quite a underated car and does surprise a few people on the road
