Insurers and modifications
I currently have my classic insured with exhaust etc all declared but im now ready to change the brakes and tidy up the engine bay.
Do things like Samco hoses need declaring? im talking about the coolant hose, Y pipe etc as i want to change them for black samcos
Also are grooved disks and non oe pads considered a modification even if they are standard size etc

If they don't enhance performance and aren't on show (like bodykits, and sports bucket seats), it shouldn't affect you premium i would imagine.
Plus i think they are just replacement hoses, would you want to pay more insurance if you fitted new subaru items??

Insurance for grooved discs?? No, surely not. They are just new/different design brakes, no racing 6 pot conversions worth ££££'s.
Ring your insurers and ask before you wstart declaring anything. Along the lines of, if i decided to fit x, y, z will it affect my premium?
My money would be on no it won't being said back to you.
