When will Subaru release details/specs of 2011 models
I guess nothing will happen until after the current offers on the "old" WRX are done - the suggestion seems to be that any remaining stock will be pre-registered on 30/6.
Do they usually wait until the end of the year or will we know this summer?

Been speaking to several dealerships whilst trying to buy a hatch and looks like MY2011 will be 1.6 replacing the current 1.5 then petrol and diesels in 2.0 (no turbo petrols) WRX is being dropped and STI will become a 4 door door again. None STI models will remain as 5 door hatchbacks.
One dealer suggested STI will be available in both 4 & 5 door versions, but I cannot see Subaru UK importing two variants
Thats my take on things, but I could be totally wrong.

And yet my dealership says UK will get Saloon STI only... It's all smoke and mirrors at IM.... lets face it we'd be a whole lot better off without them...
We'd get Jap spec cars direct from Japan for a start, and non of this half hearted/watered down UK spec technology.
We'd get to chose what models we wanted, non of this single model per market rubbish.
We'd probably still be in the top 10 in the JDM chart
Performance guru's like Prodrive, Cosworth etc would have free range (like Litchfield does) to modify and offer their own warranty accordingly...

Well what a let down the test drive was, apparently there are no new sti's or 330's in the country, and Subaru aren't importing any more. I could have driven the wrx but did not bother. The dealer had not heard the 1.5 was going to be replaced by 1.6 , did not know the bhp of the wrx and said he would guess the new models will be out sometime mid next year. A bit pathetic really.
Just as well i was not looking to buy a hatch because i would now be looking for other brands.

A revised spec line up will feature in the 1.5 range, we are not getting a 1.6 version, not sure where that rumour has come from.
WRX is finishing as we all know, replaced by a STi Hatch and an STi Saloon sold along side eachother.
330s was always a ltd edition and became difficult to source a good few months ago, std STi's are running low I assume due to the current deals on of free PPP and 18" alloys, plus the rest left would have been switched over to develop into Cosworths.
Oh and the bhp of the WRX is 230ps

I take it you are 'on the inside' then SPG? Are you a dealer giving information away that you're not supposed to? Not that I mind at all! Do you have any idea of price and if the STi will come in under the top bracket for tax?

Yeah, guess so. I can wish though can't I?
They're obviously starting to think hard about getting rid of current stock on WRX's now
New WRX's going cheap

That's cheap!
What the hell does that do to the value of a 2 year old WRX HatchBack with 20,000 miles on it? £8,000 anyone?
Early takers of the HatchBack WRX must be feeling a little sick just about now?
