and i must say i am rather disapointed, looks awesome and a nice fit, but after all i have read about them being loud??? its just not lol. ive been after a blitz but just cant get my hands on one and got told scorpion was the next best thing for the noise and tone i wanted. next stage cats out and remap that that should give me what i want!

New means it's at it's peak efficiency, once the carbon and oil coat everything it will get louder, although I can't see why you'd want to be hated by your neighbours

i fitted a cobra sports 3inch cat back exhaust system on my v6 type-r, as the factory sti system was very quiet, didnt sound like a subaru at all, 1st test drive i was very pleased with the sound, its very loud, i was also looking for a nur spec at the time , if a nur spec is any louder than my cobra, it would do my head in and have to come off.

my neighbours are *** holes any way, i was thinking totally remove exhaust for monday when i start work at 6 pmsl.

I have a Scorpion Cat-back on my '07 plate STi and it sounds great, really nice deep note - it definitely isn't quiet although unsure how loud you are after LOL
