What a bunch of clowns, most of them almost seem to think that it is ok to drink and drive.

Personally I think that most of them shouldn't be in charge of a wheel barrow let alone a performance car.

Hardly.

He's fessed up, going to take a seriously hard hit and obviously regrets it. A very stupid thing to do nontheless.

Honestly, you would think the only thing some people have ever done wrong is sung too loud in choir.

We're not referring to the original poster, who does regret what he did.

It's the other ones who seems proud of their convictions.

I was referring to the people who posted up who seemed to think that drinking and driving was fine, an acceptable thing to do. As for that clown who has been banned five times and caught twice drink driving he should even be on the road.

And if you are making the choir comment about me then sorry I am an atheist so your rather churlish remark really means nothing to me.

That is unless you think that drinking and driving is acceptable and is to be thought of as the norm...

Also, when young it's normal to make mistakes and learn from them. At some point you have to take the next step and learn from other peoples' experiences. It's life and part of growing up and maturing.

origional poster does seem remorsefull and knows he's done wrong.

the rest of them, they realy are a bunch of idiots (well some of htem) to me drink driving is not acceptable, slightly over the limit and being done is way different to being 2 or 3 times over the limit no matter if its your first offence. if you get caught, how many times is it you;ve got away with it before? theres no excuse, if your gonna drive don;t drink, simple as

What is it you don't understand about the choir comment, do I really need to simplify it for you?

Saying that most of the people on there should not even be allowed in charge of a wheelbarrow is fooking stupid. I can see two/three people at most who seem to think its funny so don't tar them all with the same brush.

In answer to your other question it wasn't very funny watching my mate get cut out of his car. So no, I don't think its acceptable.

I fully understand the comment about the choir, but there is a considerable difference between drinking and driving and having say parked on double yellow lines as an example, I have never got behind the wheel of a car after having had an alcoholic drink.

When I do partake of a few alcoholic drinks I always make sure that I allow enough time for the effects to subside the next day before even contemplating driving. It stupifies me that people think that they can drink all night, get out of bed at 6am and then drive and think that they are clear and fine to drive.

I only read from page 13 on as the link from Moley starts you from that point, perhaps I should have read the whole thread but at 11.30 last night I was reading it just before logging off.

But I still stand by the fact that those MLR members who condoned drink driving and particularly the one that had been banned 5 times and had 2 drink driving convictions should not be alllowed back on the road ever.
