Default Brake light faliure

Hi Guys,
Was wanting a bit of advise as my brake lights have stoped working.
i have a my95 classic wrx. I have checked both bulbs, all the wires in the boot are ok. Plus every fuse i could see under dash and bonnet. these are all ok. Any one got any ideas or had similar problem.
Thanks mike.

is there power at the bulb holder? (you'll need a circuit tester or multimeter) If not as above, sounds like the brake light switch.

An auto electrician is a bit over kill> probably the switch which sits on top the brake pedal and very easy to change>

Remove the plug from it and connect the two terminals with a peice of wire ir even a paper clip if the lights come on while the two wires are connected its the switch.
