Default PPP or Scoobyclinic Power Package

I am thinking of upgrading my STI V7, it is totally standard at the moment a blank canvas, i bet there aren't many left..
Has anybody had the Scoobyclinic 320 bhp upgrade fitted, what do you think?
Is it a bargain at £1500.00 or are there any others out there better for the money....please advise

scoobyclinic are good mate, and know there stuff and 1500 aint a bad price ,
have you thought about buying 2nd hand parts then just get it mapped to suit , this way you will be able to get power and supention mods for your £1500

get second hand parts and an open source remap, will save you a fortune

£110 for decat
£300 for an exhaust - nur spec or the like
£70 walbro fuel pump
£40 panel filter
£350 racedynamix remap

thats £870 i think and you'll be looking at between 300 and 340 i reckon

For what you want have a word with Duncan above

Maybe 5 years ago what you are thinking about would need a shed load of money and a mapping guru but today it's just routine

I have a V7 bugeye STi, After I brought it back from Cyprus I had it tuned. The specs were tubular headers, APS 3" exhaust with cat, uprated fuel pump and a GEMS ECU. I went for the GEMS as 6 years ago the perceived limits of mapping the OE ECU was below 400bhp, it is much better now. That gave me 360 bhp on the standard turbo and injectors. I f you can go for a all in one package which is what I did then the mapper will know what is being used and what he can get. I agree that going the second hand route could save money but if a part is defective could end up costing more in the long run.
PS Is your name Andy?

Absolutely, 320-330 is a simple full decat and remap route on a newage STi with a couple of other bits like fuel pump (for safety) and panel air filter.
