A question for someone who might know?
Hi I have a 1996 turbo 2000 that has had its issues over the last year but things are on the turn now about 2 months ago i rolling roaded my car and it is producing 240BHP this i suspect is due to the STI bottom end that fiestaboy fitted the begining of the year.
Now i am due to be getting some money and am thinking about treating myself to some new toys.
Walbro 255 Fuel pump
Front mount Intercooler
Apexi Power FC
Induction Kit
I have a decat downpipe and a newly serviced TD05 turbo to be fitted.
What sort of power figures am i to expect form these modifications.
Any thoughts
Cheers for your help.

Which TD05 are you getting? I think those mods with any TD05 are capable of seeing more than the car can reliably handle i.e. 350 ish bhp. Sure there are cars that power out there but they may not be reliable. Speak to your proposed mapper, I think ca 320 is ok on your car and it will be a good road car.

Edit just read the bit about the STi bottom end. If it's a claasic STi then I don't think its that much stronger anyway, but your gearbox will become the weak point.

This is what I would do depending on how much you have to spend.
440 or 550 injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Full decat exhaust
Ported exhaust headers and up pipe
K&N induction kit
Hybrid FMIC
Apexi PFC or a Simtek ecu + remap

All the above mentioned mods should see you to circa 330/340 hp, if the 16g is pushed relatively hard - The gearbox and standard clutch are then the weakest links IMO
Your standard topmount is very limiting, and needs to be changed to a larger TMIC or FMIC to get beyond 300hp
