Default Honda Prelude Vtec as a track day car

I have noticed that you can buy these for very little money!! Do you think they would make a good track day car??

Was wondering what that 4 wheel steer would be like around the bends!!

Think they are around the 200bhp mark

I had a 2.2 VTEC and I loved the car. Not as practical as scooby due to being a coupe.

Mine seemed to handle very well. But never took her onto the track. The engine seemed bullit proof.

not sure but i think the 4 wheel steer only really worked at low speeds. kingtiger is right about the engine though very revvy and bulletproof not sure they made 200 hp though the civic type r only just made that although it was a 2l

Yer four wheel steer worked at all speed below 20mph it would turn in opposite direction. And over that it would steer in same direction.

The uk 2.2 made 185 bhp but they did a jdm I think called the SI which had 200bhp but made no difference in 0-60. I also like the eol dials.

stripped out fully (inc glass in side doors) new decatted exhaust system, roll cage, uprated suspension and remapped will make it loads of fun. my mate has a few track cars and this is usually all he does to them.
