HELP AIRBOX FOR A VERSION 3 WRX
hi, i have a 97 version wrx import, i am taking off an induction kit as not running properly and was wondering if a version 3 WRX Sti box will be ok on a WRX?

Perhaps you need to know why the car is not running properly with the induction kit, may be other issues? Old dirty plugs, dodgy MAF, Lambda failing ??? Poor petrol even?
Was it mapped for the induction kit, is it one of the silly Blitz stainless steel hold filters ( that let in lots of dirt ) etc.
I can suggest you go onto the IWOC site ( think its called beta tau ?? ) and see their model comparison pages ... I think STi 5 was 1999 so STi 3 is 1997 and so should fit.. use good STi filter or K&N or similar, and I hope it sorts your problems.

Better to call it a 1997MY WRX, or a D-Series WRX, as V3 only adds confusion. Classic STI version numbers only relate to STI models (and then only loosely), not the Impreza production versions. a MY97 is a version four or a version five, depending on hw you look at the C & C2-Series...
