just a quick question is anyone a member of a non **** non up its own **** scooby club .a club that likes to drive fast and party hard ,a club that does not think of only pollishing and talkin bout bloody scoobys .i love scoobys but sorry not a scooby person .im sure loads of u are the same .

Fair play mate, I hate to just ramble on about cars at meets to the point I don't go to many nowadays, a run out or event like a sprint/trackday is a lot better.

Thing is aswell, the more you get to know people the more you get to know what you have in common, its the cars that bring everyone together in the 1st place don't forget....but I do know where your coming from...the ones that wear the coats and t-shirts are the worst pmsl

i dont have a prob with chattin bout scoobys guys i have one. its the large amount of clubs 2 that i will not mention,that are so **** bout it .y in gods name would u spend 2 days polishing your damn car and i know one guy who wont take his young kids in his car ,how frigin sad can u get ,its only a bloody car for christs sake .others go to race meets and dont watch the racing but sit round washing and polishing there cars .

Horses for courses. Some people like to take their cars on track and give them a good drive or even a caining. Some people like to detail/polish/talk to their cars for days on end. Some people buy cars just as a means to get about from A to B sometimes via C. And some people buy their cars to do all three perhaps.

Your original post comes across as someone who's not really into their cars that much as is slightly intolerable of those that are (in whatever capacity). I'd suggest maybe posting on a non car related forum as the majority here (or at least particularly in the General section) are in one of the first 2 catagories.

I dunno what you expect from a car club specialising in one marque or a performance side of motoring

I do kind of get what you mean, i personally don't see much point in that either.

HOWEVER, if people like doing that then fair play to them. If we were all the same it'd be a boring place.
I do track days.... and lots of people probably don't see the point in that either.

It is about having a mutual respect, even if you have a different view to others.... as your original post did come accross as offensive.
