misfire problem on my 1995

Default misfire problem on my 1995

HELP NEEDED

can anybody help just rebuilt my 1995 wrx and started it .its got a misfire but cant find the problem, checked all coil packs and plugs, is there a way to adjust the ignition timing or wot the fault could be?

If it wasn't misfiring before the rebuild and your rebuild keeps the car to the same spec as it was previously at then it's unlikely to be the ECU or the mapping.

Have you changed anything from pre-rebuild??
Is it misfiring during idle or on the move, and if on the move is it normally under heavy engine load or light throttle??
Have you checked for error codes??

The coil packs have to be the first point of call. If they arent new then replacing is seldom wasting money.

The engine has been fully forged as for coil packs we tride my mates coils and they work fine on his but made no differance to mine as for error codes the only one that is there is for the knock sensor wich we think is on becouse of the misfire thanks so fare for the help but if u can help more please do cheers lads
