can anyone point me in the right direction of a cheap courier who could post a set of alloy wheels from down south up to scotland? also any idea how much i would be looking at to get this done? seen a really nice set of prodrive alloys on ebay but too far away to collect. cheers.

ebay has lots, depending upon wheel size, weight etc £30 ish. these were the cheepest I found with a quick look www.PaisleyFreight.com but i haven't used them

I use Parcel 2 Go.com
Most parcels cost £7.04 to post in the UK and I think the max weight is 20kg[for that price]. If you bind 2 of the alloys together so you have 2 parcels, it should save you a few quid.

I weighed my compomotive wheel complete with tyre to work out the price as I was trying to sell them. 17 x 8 wheel, 235/45 17 tyres. weight was approx 20kg, the compomotive is also a light weight rim so others may be heavier. If you are getting tyres in the package make sure they have enough tread to be worth the extra cost in transporting them.

Do not use Wheelcarrier as they are a bunch of tw&ts & even worse are Interlink who lost (nicked) my Rota wheel & R888 & causing problems paying up. Still have not recieved compensation 6 weeks on
