Default Full Re-Spray Price and Colour choice for a bugeye

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what to expect to pay please?

Also what would be the best colour choice?

Im liking the White look with Black wheels.

I'd appreciate your views please.

Thanks

Depends what sort of job you want doing, If you want a pukka job with all window trims etc removed and a bare shell respray etc properly done you can expect to pay £2,5k+. You can also get it done for around £1k but I wouldnt expect the job to be top notch. You pay for what you get, and there is no sutch thing as a cheap respray.

p.s White on black looks nice, But liking Cool grey(RB5 colour) with anthercite rims at the moment!!!

You just cant beat the white & black combo.

Heres a pic of my old bugeye.

I've now gone for Black wheels on my Cool Grey classic STI type R which is in for a full body respray the now, but it aint costing me anything as the guy owns me a favour but if i was paying it would of been around the 2.5k-3k.

If you're in the Northwest - then Jake (cuprajake on here) will probably be pleased to give you a quote - when I last heard he would have been much cheaper than the quotes above and they have full modern paintshop facilities. He has posted some threads of his work online...
Panelcare website - http://www.panelcare.co.uk/

I was looking at getting mine done 'cheap as poss' and found a local painter who would do the work if we did most of the stripping and masking for £800 and about £150 for the paint...

Good luck

If you go with white, Audi and FOrd do the best shaeds of white IMHO. If you want something a little different looking Ford do a white with a blue tinge, almost a pearl to it, have seen a Kuga in that colour, looked really good.

Thanks for the advice guys, I have a friend with a Focus ST in White, it does look nice i must say.

I havent a car to paint as such, its just that all cars ive been looking at in my current price range all seem a little rough, thus the paint jobbie idea.
