ADVICE NEEDED FOR SELLING WRX
I am looking for some much needed advice!
My father has recently passed away and my sisters and I are trying to sell his much loved Subaru Impreza WRX.
My father loved his car and had many modifications done to the motor, it is fitted with a rollcage, race seats, track tyres, he has had the engine tuned and this is to name but a few changes.
The car is in immaculate condition, is a 2005 plate with 53000 on the clock, full mot and tax to march 2011.
I am at a loss as to how to advertise this in the best way in order to get a true subaru lover and a good price.
Any tips would be welcome!

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about your father..
what area of the country are you in?.there is probably a subaru specialist local to you who could advise you on the cars value.
As you say it has modifications its not quite as clear cut as valuing a standard car.
Once we can establish more details of the car and mods etc then you can advertise right here.
Do you have receipts for the engine tuning etc?.
Chances are one of them will be one of the subaru specialists who may know the car?

Find out ALL the details of the car that you can get, Clean it, if its due MOT do one, if its due a service do one, then put it on e-bay with a good description and 10-12 large pictures showing all of the car
Start it on 99p and have a reserve (if you like) DONT accpt offers from traders and unless you know the value of the car a e-bay auction is the only way to get the true market value, Make sure you have the righ keywords in the title dont just use the one that ebay give you

First of all id like to say I'm sorry for your loss.
Right the car, id suggest ignoring the suggestion above and id ring www.scoobyclinic.co.uk ask for kev or Adam and explain your situation. They will probably charge you but id say for where you live they would be the best people to advise you of value. They may even buy it from you.
Hope that helps
James.
