Had it as standard on my JDM Spec B GT Legacy. It also had an "ECO" mode to save fuel. About time the UK market caught up with standard JDM equipment.

my CC drinks fuel like a fish compared to using the right foot.

The only bummer to the system, but why is the economy so bad with CC?

My Legacy was the opposite, I used to get 2-3mpg better mpg using C/C

The STI is always worse by 1mpg

Actually - slightly off topic.

But what do the seats in a Type UK STI look like.

That link mentions " fine leather and Alcantara front seats"
But no picture

I found it in the brochure ... it says 'Steering Wheel Cruise Control' ... I was scanning for just 'Cruise Control'

Its a different system on the new age models as opposed to the "classic" cruise control - this one allows you to take your hands off the steering wheel allowing you read your Readers Digest while you to control your speed with the pedals to give the best fuel consumption/clutch wear/brake pad life.

It's superb ..... trust me

Gareth

What are you on about?
The UK car is a Euro car - albeit probably of lowest spec, but non the less, still a Euro car.

Anyway, what about the UK STI seats - any pictures?

They're very similar to the Recaro's in ours Shaun, but not as deep with shallower bolsters.
