Same here.

Think you'll find the car is an Euro import from Motor Depot.

Yeah, but only if you order the higher spec'd car?

My understanding of WRX STI euro hatches
base model - I assume same as standard type UK
S model - no idea?
Premium SE model - I understand this is the same spec as a UK 330S car but with different wheels.

I'd check it's had it's re-flash, (any Subaru dealer can tell you this with the reg)

Check for white smoke on cold start up

The V5 will have the previous owner, can you not obtain that?

Just make sure it's a damned sight cheaper than a proper Type UK car!!!

Come resale time you will not get UK Car money - so, factor that in!

Yes Subaru should do it for you. Had my euro STI re-flashed at the 1000 mile service under warranty.

Dealer didn't know anything about at the time. Showed them the US Subaru bulletin and they contacted IM who provided the update

Tread very carefully, white smoke has been the common symptom of the piston ring lands going.. Ty it again when you next go down...make sure you have a grease monkey or salesman watching...if it does it again, insist on a compression test before shelling anything out.
