My car could be written off, how much is it worth?

I need your help.
It looks like my car could be written off following an accident last week.
How much should I expect from the insurance company? The spec is as follows:
MY00 on a W plate
Euro. Import in Sonic Blue
Totally standard with Air Con.
13K Miles and FSH (all 2 of them)
Adored and in A1 condition.
Your advice/help will be much appreciated.
Regards,
MickeyG

They will look for the cost of a like for like replacement. UK sourced cars with that spec are going for £15-17k (brand new UK supplied MY00s with Aircon can be had for £18-19k!), I was told EU imports are about 25% less, so £11-13k?

Mickey,
Speaking from first hand experience, the insurance company won't offer any distinction between a UK or European imported car. This makes sense really since they are identical anyway. If your car was < 12months old some policies will allow replacement with a brand new car. If you are after cash however they won't pay you the price of a brand new car, its market value I'm affraid! Insurance companies are generally fair with respect to payouts and even if they try it on a bit, they will give you a chance to challenge their offer by finding cars of same milage and age advertised in Autotrader/Top Marques etc
