Does anybody have any thoughts on octane boosters? Are they safe? Do they work?

I've been using Millers' Octane Plus for 10K miles, no problems.

Certainly seems to make the car run smoother and 1-2mpg better fuel consumption.

Cheers

I have run Millers O+ from day one and no problem. Seemed better when I now run it with optimax than SUL due to the 1.x extra RON.

1 bottle to 50 litres unleaded petrol.

How much is 50 litres? 1 full tank?

I used some NF for a while. You can use from 1ml to 5ml per litre. If you use 5ml you will get around 6 tanks out of a bottle and i think it increases Optimax RON to 103.8 ish (may be wrong).

NF is the only one that works more than 2 RON with NUL.

Most use Boosters with Optimax - NF will take it over 100RON, not sure the others will
