Default R32GTR to 2003 wrb wrx sti My Question is ........

hi

at the moment i've got a 1990 Black R32GTR (and no it's not got that size number plate on it now but it is standard apart from coilovers, 17" rims, 3" zorst and hks filters)

and looking at swaping it and getting...

a 4 door car.........

an 2003 wrb wrx sti

what i'm asking is.......

what to look out for...

what are they like day to day

what are the upgrade path's price's etc

and sorry if this is like any other threads and p$$ some members off but i'm asking your opinions now not from people and times before

Thanks

Nigel

I had a R32 mate and prefer the subaru, much more fun to drive and way cheaper to run too.

2003 STI is a very good car.

Engine will easily handle 400bhp, and still drive like standard

yeh ....the idea for the GTR was to get it into the 10 sec bracket on the stip which would need 650 bhp +

what would the STI need to get there ???

The Impreza is not a born drag animal...... small displacement, 4 wheel drive, lots of transmission losses, Turbo in the wrong place, intercooler in the wrong place, wrong ratio's

It's a road car
