compression results
what should a compression test on a classic read please as im doing mine this weekend and want to no wat is good and bad thanks in advance

Should be even readings across all 4 + or - 10%
Mine were 152 150 148 146 1996 classic wrx import

STIs have lower compression ratio to WRXs... I think...
WRX - 8.5:1
STI - 8.0:1
I know the later UK/Euro classic cars had 8.5:1 later on but I'm a bit hazy on earlier stuff.

I checked mine a good while ago too and it was 145 on each of them, ( impreza sti type r)

as long as there all about the same then its fine, unless there way way down of course.

what is classed as way down? and what are the figures supposed to be like? ie 145 for sti 155 for wrx? anyone know
