The NSPCC supports the criminalisation of the smacking of children by parents on the mistaken belief that parents are as bad as child murderers!
They also supported the reduction of the age of consent for homosexual partners. I don't agree with discrimination at any level (I'd like to see the consent age raised from 16 to 18 across the board) but it is NOT the NSPCC's role to campaign for such things!
Finally only about 40-odd percent of cash raised for the NSPCC actually goes on the protection of children. The rest gets lost in 'administration'!
There are much more worthwhile charities to support than the NSPCC.

Agree with both your comments DevilsAd buy hey, 40% of someone else's money is better than nothing. The kid/s that gets the 40% worth of help will be grateful anyway. That's good enough for me.

ScoobyMann,
I know what you mean. Just don't be giving any of your own hard earned stuff away to these parasites!
Joking - kind of.

Thanks for posting about this,...
I just did it and sent an email around at work!
All for a good course like... and very nice to cost Microsoft money for once.

And another.
A truly worthwhile cause. No matter what crap some people have spouted earlier.
