Default TOTAL IMPREZA - not impressed

Not impressed by this mag. For £4.50 you have thought it would not be full of mistakes!

Anyone else spotted all the errors in this months?

I don't see how they can let through so many mistakes. When the magazine first came out it was full of them, but it seemed to be much better recently

Its like the Max Power of Subaru magazines, bought a couple of copies, not bothering now. Banzai is a better mag IMHO, but still got some barried cars in it.

glad its not just me! i think £4.50 for it is rip off. You wouldnt mind the mistakes so much if it were a bit cheaper. wont be buying it again.
the only bit i did like was the rolling road shoot out results, but they dont even do them now.

It's rubbish isn't it! I can't believe the amount of mistakes in it either, last months one with the family of Impreza owners was laughable.

To be honest cant understand why magazines are still so popular today given the mass use off the internet ? in my years I have probably spent litteraly thousands off pounds on magazines relating to my various hobbies - amateur radio / cars / bikes / etc !!! with some off the magazines costing near enough a fiver a time now can honestly say that a quick read in Smiths whilst waitting on the wife doing here rounds off theclothes shops is normally enough to catch up with any special features !!

but again all the info in the magazines is up to a month out off date and can all be found on the net for nothing anyway !!!

but appreciatte that given the amount off titles that fill the space off the magazine shelves obviously a lot off folk dont think the same as me !!

yep that done it for me as well, it has got the base to be a very good magazine but is wasted. found my old scooby magazines out the other day, totally different and a damn site better, lots of articles and not the ones where its in every magazine with just the car manafacturers name changed.

The magazine is as dull as ditch water... which is strange as driving or owning an Impreza is very exciting.

Mmm me thinks someone is making money and the Scooby consumer is losing out.

Stopped buying it last year.
Wasn't impressed with it, even less so when I read the sister Total EVO and the new editor, Iain Robertson gets intoduced as a diehard EVO fanatic who hates Subaru's. Next issue he's now the editor of Total Impreza as well. Now kissing *** but still having the sly dig.
Plus he's waffles on for a full page before getting into the story.

Gave up then.

Japanese performance isn't much better. Full article a few months back about a Hawkeye STi, but it was a blob-eye.
Can't even get the basics right.

Banzai is by far the best Jap car mag available.

I got bored of the "anti-bug-eye" attitude, so I voted "NO" about a year ago...

banzai for me too. Jap performance is not performing an total impreza seems to be full of errors or features that seems to end too quickly.

Phil I have to say thats the first time I've seen an on-line magazine in a format that actually works!

I'm quite impressed - went to the link for a quick look and ended up flicking though the whole thing

This magazine's editorial's are clinically cold and somehwat synthetic.

What is required is emotion and feeling in the writing, especially as it is a Subaru Impreza mag!

Bought this months, was it that which reviewed screenwash??

Anyone old enough to remember Max Power in its first few years? with Vicky Butler Henderson etc... It was fantastic and Redline is going a similar direction.. good effort.
Had proper lads cars, Cossie powered 4WD pugs, 400 hoss Mk.2 Escorts etc etc.

Had a sub to Subiesport a couple of years back, now theres a good mag for Subarus, met the publisher by chance at WRGB shakedown a few years back and he is a true car nut (see driving sports podcasts)

In my spell away from Scoobs i had hoped TI to be better, sadly mistaken.
