What do you mean by "double clutch" (As opposed to double-de-clutch, which is a forward gear change technique) Are you saying you push the clutch down, release then push it down again before you can engage reverse?
Put clutch down, move into neutral, bring clutch up, then clutch back down again and move gear into reverse.
That's wierd having to do that! My first thought was either air in the clutch hydraulics or fluid leaking back past the seal in the clutch master cylinder, so allowing the clutch to partially engage while you are holding the pedal down, thus baulking engagement. Do you have to do it when changing back into 1st from reverse?
