to be fair I've asked for a lots of modification to the engine/heads etc etc

But they know I am in no rush to get the car back , and I have a new toy the play with in the mean time (e90 M3)

Busted mine in France end of August last year, it was OTR at my place until November, and has been at Harvey's ever since. (Being done up on a non-distressed timescale). So 8 months.

TBH, I miss the car, but NOT the fuel bills, the insurance bill, the road tax, etc.

That was bad enough.

Aye mine went off the road at the end of September last year, I recon it will be October at the very earliest but think closer to christmas before its ready. Would have been ready now, shame I didnt have a large lump of cash sitting in the back, I have just got no cash in the bank now at the end of each month.

I dont have too much more to pay for now, just the Dry sump, Turbo, ECU and mapping, Suspension (that might need to wait for a wee while) bracing and polly bush kit, New headers and exhaust oh and the FMIC. edit, I forgot the fuel system too

At least the engine, heads and front brakes are paid for

Put mine off the road at the end of October for the winter ( its a second car so it spends every winter tucked up ). I need to spend cash on the house this year ( new windows and bathrooms ) so the car will more than likely spend the rest of this year in the garage.

October 2006 so

Came off the road for winter as I had a Legacy GTB as a winter car - ended up using the GTB all the time. Looking to get it back on the road this year.

7 months last year, but I went away and whilst I missed driving it, I couldn't have taken it with me; it wouldn't fit in my bag

Better times....this was nearly 4 years ago now.
