Standard 2007 WRX wagon.

For the renewal all they asked was if it was turbo or not.. didnt ask for any other information.

I had the extended warranty - it is not the same as the 3 year one - not as much covered. was not worth is in my opinion. was a few years ago noe though - check what is covered - you will be amazed on the difference between that and the 3 year one.

I extended to 5 years - it was as good as the 3 year one I seem to remember.

I used it when my Immobiliser failed to lock or start the car ..... was worth it just for that! Got a new screening around the unit and talked through how to overcome the issue when stranded 300 miles from home!

You also get Subaru Assist with the extended warranty.

Depends what your risk aversion is.
