Default Clutch on MY99 UK Questions??

Well the clutch started to slip yesterday on my UK Turbo 2000 classic. It's running pretty much standard power between 220-240bhp.
I'm looking at fitting an Exedy organic replacement are these best for standard swap??
What sort of money (labour wise) should I expect to pay to have the job done at a specialist?
I'm considering having a go myself, but not changed one on a scoob before, and no access to 4 poster ramps anymore, so would mean I'm on ramps on the drive scrawling round on my back, is it more hassle than it's worth that way?

think u need to change the flywheel at the same time as a precaution, cost me circa £600 for the parts and fitting.

Hi,

I have a my99 WRX import and have recently replaced my clutch with an Exedy organic replacement, which I am finding is very good. I also replaced the flywheel at the same time as they are very prone to causing clutch judder, and it is always advised that these are changed together.

A friend and myself carried out the replacment at home, and for the most part it is strait forward, but you will probably need the second person for lifting the box out and in as it is very heavy.

Hope this helps,

Stu

It's a pain in the **** to do but if you are handy with spanners and you are not in a financial position then you could do it yourself. It's either engine out of gearbox off. Personally i thing the gearbox off is the easiest.
Try a search on here when you have decided as there are loads of guides on how to do it.
