2002 WRX Bugeye Fuel Smell on inlet by turbo, Recall?

Unhappy 2002 WRX Bugeye Fuel Smell on inlet by turbo, Recall?

Hi everyone

I have a 2002 WRX and yesterday when i strated my car I had a smell of Fuel really bad read up about it and belive its the fuel return under the inlet by the turbo, is this a recall? found this on the web

can anyone confirm if Subaru can fix this as a recall?

Looks like it was just a North American recall. Could always ring your nearest dealer and ask them, I know they sell the modified fuel lines to cure the problem.

Yeah I have sent them a mail, just not that confident in taking the inlet off, and not got the money to go to the stealer to get it done

I had a similar problem. Took my car to Adam at Autotecnica. Subaru could not solve the problem but Autotecnica did.
