i know you can get the nos set up so that when you hit a certain boost pressure the nos will kick in but will the nos kill the gearbox?

Yep, buy an adjustable pressure switch and plumb into the fpr feed.

You'd normally set it up to come in off boost to eliminate lag not the other way around.

u can set it up with a minimiser or a maximiser and to whether u want it all on one go or in every gear ie a progressive controller had it in my ald renault 21 turbo and depending on what size of injector size ure wantin like 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 150 there is bigger injector sizes if ure goin mental like crd supra turbo think thats like 250 injectors but would only put nos in stages try with the smaller injectors first then work ure way up if u dont go overboard cant see u killing ure box or ure engine if ure sensible
