I live in Dover and bought my previous car from them ( Nissan S15 Spec R ). What can I say??

The car itself was great, no probs except from a wheel bearing that went soon after buying the car. However.......customer service......dogs**t

I visited them on a few seperate occassions to ask about upgrades and carbon fibre parts and each time the owner (Reaf) said he was too busy to talk to me and that he would call me back. Never did. It seemed to me that after they have sold you a car they lose interest in you despite the fact they could have made more by sourcing parts for me ( which they advertise to do ) !!

Sooooooooo, my personal opinion..........the cars are good but don't expects too much from the customer service side

Hope this helps!

Oh, and servicing/mot's are tres expensive...........

They do. I got my Type R from them last October and have found them very helpful from the sale of the car to aftercare as well.

just got my version 6 sti wagon from them on monday.

kept me updated every step of the way.
Fitted the usual downpipe exhaust fuel pump etc.
Changed the timing belts an fitted my api oil pump as well. mot an 6 months tax.

Paid extra for underseal an cat 1 toad alarm.

Sourced second hand defi's an control unit as well.

Cars spotless an im happy. i live in glasgow so a 500 mile trip down by train and theres a premier inn right next to them.

The car had tein coilovers and bridgestones with alot of tread left, discs were hardly worn either.

I bought a car from them a few years back. No problems with car and got a great price on my part exchange. However, I have to agree that customer service is a nightmare - it's almost like they don't want to actually sell you anything or do any work for you - very weird

In fact, when I wanted to exchange the blobeye JDM WRX I got from them to an STi I went along and looked at a couple on the forecourt. They were so disinterested I got back in the car and drove all the way up to David at API. Within an hour David had let me test drive a couple of his cars and we had shaken hands on a deal - what a difference in customer service.

That said, the quality of cars they had when I went down to look was pretty good - guess that's the most important thing.

PS. Check that they have de-restricted the car if that's what you want - mine was still limited....
