All Newage WRX / STI have aluminium bonnets.
Other panels are steel.

yes they do,

The first time i took my car on the motorway and it was a bit windy i saw the bonnet bouncing up and down i pulled over into the hard shoulder to make sure it hadn't jumped up onto the catch.

Don't even notice it any more.

I believe a lot of the extra weight is in the chassis, although i could be wrong.

S C O O B Y since your looking for some info on your new blob sti ill point out 2 common problems you can get on this model both i have had to fix on my blob first being knocking struts which you will get at some point when you own the model can cost £££s to fix and second but not to bad is leaking water in the boot which is caused by water getting in through the bottom seal of the rear window.

Blob sti are great scoobys but still have there problems.
