Aircon re-gas
The aircon in my 93 WRX has stopped working - most likely because I've never had it recharged in the 10 years I've owned it!
I went to Kwik-fit (I know ) the other day, and they could recharge it for £25, which sounded just right. But, when I told them it probably used R12 refridgerant, they said that they don't have a compatible gas nor the fittings to re-gas that.
I've had a scan through yell.com and the only company that specifically says they'll do R12 systems wants £110!!
Are there any other places that people use for older aircon systems that don't charge a fortune, or should I just stump up the £110?!

Hi Dave,
I went a week ago only to find that the reason it had stopped working was that a pipe had failed....
So I went to Fleetwood to source a replacement and I'm off back next weekend.
dunx
P.S. That's only £11 a year.....
